DPI COOPERATION in MOTION

On September 22nd, 2025, high-level representatives from countries participating in 50-in-5 will gather in New York City from 5:30-7:00 pm ET to celebrate and showcase the ways they are working with one another to implement safe, inclusive, and interoperable DPI.

To date, 26 countries have joined the 50-in-5 campaign, which aims to help 50 countries design, launch, and scale components of their digital public infrastructure by 2028.

The DPI Cooperation in Motion milestone event will spotlight real-world examples of how safe, inclusive, and interoperable DPI are being leveraged to enhance public service delivery, foster economic resilience, and address critical challenges like climate change. Through a lens of cross-country collaboration, the event will showcase how countries are working together to advance shared approaches to DPI. A key focus will be on the role of digital public goods in scaling these efforts, emphasising their potential to accelerate development outcomes and drive cooperation across sectors and borders.

To demonstrate the growing commitment to advancing DPI on a global scale, the gathering will feature additional countries announcing their participation in the campaign, including those with significant regional and global influence.
